Glowing National Park

Sunset over Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park.

I arrived just before sunset, and knew approximately where I wanted to shoot. I set off to hike (run) the trail and find this spot, but ended up missing by quite a bit. I gave up, thinking I had missed the shot, but as I neared the spot where I had left my family to enjoy sunset, I found the opening and a few minutes to get this photo.

With beautiful yellow and red trees flanking the mountain and its reflection, I was very happy with this image. I hope you are, too!
