Denali Light

Inside Denali National Park, when the great mountain is hiding behind the clouds, what is left to see? Incredible beauty!

As a storm rolled through, the light hit this range of hills and mountains so perfectly. I took about 100 shots of this area over 20 minutes, and a few turned out beautifully. My wife and I are from the Midwest, and the middle of this photo really plays to the rolling hills of our roots - but it's backed by the beautiful high-contrast Alaskan mountains.
